The BBC is glad that South Africa’s crime rate is dropping. The BBC correspondent in Johannesburg, Peter Biles is anxious to see rape, murder and armed-robberies reduce there. And who runs the BBC? Oops, the same people who have led to South Africa’s present poverty and consequent, high criminality.

The British have systematically robbed, plundered and destroyed South Africa and they have no moral right to speak ill of this nation. Also it is convenient and really clever to highlight the huge surge in crime after the end of the Apartheid there. This way, the international community will feel nostalgic about white rule everywhere in the world. This line of news-presentation is in keeping with the upsurge of neo-colonialism in the Western world.

We have Nobel Laureate scientists who are fearlessly declaring the inferiority of the darker races’ intelligence. White mainstream media insists on unbiased reporting while their own news is the most biased against the wretched nations of this blighted earth. And nothing in any writing can ever be ideologically unbiased. Journalists want to be non-partisan without realizing that is impossible. Objectivity, as propagated by media majors like the BBC, is just a myth bolstering the status quo in favor of tyrannies.

What the BBC does not report is that in mixed-race South Africa, crime is the highest in the blacks. They have a history of heavy drinking, sexual abuse and carrying unlicensed firearms. Why has this come to pass in the first place? Whites do not have such high crime rates there. Of course, this is if we discount supreme white crime of thieving land from the natives long ago and perpetrating a system which keeps this land with them even now.

The reason for this high criminality lies in frustration. There are two South Africa. One is unimaginably rich and sparkling, a nation of diamonds and untold of natural resources. Then there is the land of the slums, of bad sanitation, of hunger, of unspeakable racial abuses and deprivation. The whites in South Africa have till date not allowed equal opportunities to the blacks.

A few blacks have no doubt been allowed to come in the limelight but that is to pacify the international community. Look at our kindness, the whites seem to say. But the reality is otherwise. Mean wages for the blacks have not increased even with rising inflation. Also unemployment plagues South Africa. Young men are forced to crime out of despair. And sociological research has revealed time and again that employment opportunities are nearly non-existent for blacks in their own country.

The statistical nicety that crime has dropped 7% serves only to hide the inequalities persisting in that country. In fact, one fears that is the very reason why that information is being widely touted as a sign of national development in the mainstream media.
