The increasingly domineering attitude of the US has come to the fore once again with its threat to North Korea over the latter’s missile tests. What one may ask President George Walker Bush is does only the United States of America have the God-given right to posses nuclear weapons and conduct tests. From India to Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, North Korea successive US Administrations have been quick to impose economic and military sanctions on many nations if they conducted nuclear tests. Why does the US not set an example by destroying its N-weapons?



It has killed thousands of civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq by strafing both the countries prior to their annexation. The Abu Garib atrocities committed on innocent Iraqis is not just fresh in the minds of people the world over but will always remain so. But none of the guilty has been brought to book because they belonged to the Occupation forces. The unthinkable mayhem it let loose on Vietnamese during the reign of former President Richard Nixon is in no way less than what Adolf Hitler did to the Jews.



With the emergence of a unipolar world following the disintergration of Soviet Union, the behaviour of the Americans has become unbearable. It is time countries the world over formed a forum sans the US to counter its Superpower status which has bred arrogance amongst the Americans. Heil Americans!
