The race to win Presidential election or project ‘White House’ is on! Neither Hillary Clinton nor Barack Obama is leaving a single chance to influence Americans with their speculations, promises, burning international issues and internal problems of America.
According to an independent Rasmussen survey, despite Hilary’s uncountable efforts like answering questions till her voice cracked, diving into crowds, signing books, hugging children... and even speaking to the press to win the votes of American people, she has got another humiliating defeat from her Democratic foe Barack Obama. But, a poll conducted by CNN puts Mrs Clinton and Obama neck-to-neck with 33 percent of vote each, and former senator Edwards, from North Carolina, in third place with 20 percent.
Barack Obama, an excellent speaker has planned to scrap income tax in favor of a flat rate consumption tax only if he comes in power. Hillary has criticized Obama for making unrealistic promises and said,
Words are not action. As beautifully presented and passionately felt as they are, they are not action. What we’ve got to do is translate talk into action and feeling into reality. I have a long record of doing that.
She also criticizes Obama’s shifting views on key issues, particularly the Iraq War and healthcare. Don’t you feel, Hillary and Obama should be careful of insulting each other at this stage? They should campaign for themselves in dignified ways. America deserves a leader with a dexterous, open mind in what is sure to be a critical period in our nation’s history.
Let’s hope the most eligible candidate to win this election!
