Zimbabwe’s future seems to be getting darker and darker day-by-day. Mugabe led ZANU-PF is adopting every possible weapon of terror to come into the power. Robert Mugabe has become a well known name of extreme cruelty. MDC on the other hand is trying its best to bring out democratic reformation into the poor nation Zimbabwe. Recent information says that huge numbers of foreign mercenaries have joined the Mugabe election campaign to spread terror among the innocent village folks.
These mercenaries are seen with Russian weapons and are scattered at every nook and corner of the nation. According to the human right workers, they are making attacks on opposition supporters in rural parts along with the so-called “war veterans” and militiamen. Dressed in army fatigues, they are much more cruel and savage than the natives. Patrick Chitaka, one MDC chairman says that it’s almost two three weeks they are supporting the party.
They are definitely not from Zimbabwe, as their spoken language is totally different. Moreover, the way they are violent is never seen before among the native supporters of Mugabe government. Cutting out the tongue, removing eyes and genital parts are all the tactics they are using to dominate. This heinous power also includes gang rape and kidnapping of women. Nothing seems to be a limit for them. Up to 200 mercenaries are present in Makoni South and Makoni West. They are always accompanied by translators who conveys the party message to them and than they work accordingly. It is assumed that they are possibly from the farther parts of North Africa, like- Kenya, Uganda or Rwanda.
Mugabe’s activities of terrorism and monarchy reveal a shocking data - 115 MDC supporters have been killed in various attacks, More than 200,000 are displaced since the elections on 29 March, three million people are at risk of starvation after ejection of aid agencies by government and there are as much as 1,450 cases of state-sponsored beatings, torture or assault of opposition supporters.
Thanks to MDC’s firm determination to make changes, who is struggling enough to face this barbarous force of Mugabe government.
